Delta launched the Chinese version of their website delta.com to offer online ticket booking service on June 20th. Delta Airlines has already submitted an application to the US Department of Transportation to open the first direct air route from Atlanta International Airport to Shanghai in 2008, according to reports.

In addition, Delta Airlines hopes to cooperate with its partners and China Southern Airlines to develop business in the Chinese market.
