VLM appoints UK boss

VLM Airlines, London City airport’s leading carrier, has appointed Alan Daniels as Regional Manager, UK.

Alan returns to VLM Airlines, having been the carrier’s UK Sales Manager from 1999 until 2003. During that time, he enhanced the airline’s sales team, working to develop closer relationships with the travel trade and corporate clients.

He joins VLM Airlines from Air France, where he was a Business Development Executive; he was responsible for managing key corporate accounts in conjunction with some of the UK’s top business travel agencies.

Johan Vanneste, Managing Director of VLM Airlines, says: “We are delighted to welcome Alan back to VLM Airlines. His extensive industry experience, along with his knowledge of our operation, will make him a real asset to our team.”

Alan previously held roles at Debonair, as Sales Account Manager, and in the retail sector. He is a graduate of the Travel and Tourism Academy in Adelaide, Australia, leaving with Level 3 - Fares and Ticketing.
