Travelocity renews pact with IHG

Travelocity has extended its
longstanding distribution agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group
(IHG).As a
certified online third party intermediary for IHG’s more than 3,700
hotels worldwide, Travelocity customers will have continued access to
InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn
Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites brands when shopping
for the perfect hotel choice. Financial terms of the deal were not
disclosed.

The agreement also gives customers of Travelocity Business and
Travelocity’s IgoUgo division access to such IHG content.

“We’re pleased to strengthen an already strong relationship with IHG,”
said Ross Mantione, vice president partner marketing for Travelocity.
“With access to more content, the renewal of our strategic agreement
will result in more marketing of IHG properties and brands on
Travelocity. This will also help us to continue to grow our presence in
Europe and Asia-Pacific with our lastminute.com and ZUJI brands,
respectively.”

Travelocity will also have access to bundled rates for vacation packages
and distressed rates for last minute packages.

other Sabre Holdings portfolio companies,” said Andrew Rubinacci, vice
president, distribution marketing EMEA for IHG. “Travelocity has always
shared in our philosophy of keeping our mutual customers in mind
throughout the process and we look forward to taking this relationship
to the next level.”

IHG and Travelocity are working to implement state-of-the-art next
generation connectivity between systems, giving Travelocity’s customers
immediate and accurate access to IHG’s inventory and pricing, enhancing
their shopping experience.
