Express brand lands in Belfast

Next week will be the official opening of the Express by Holiday Inn
Antrim, with the newly crowned Miss Northern Ireland set to add glamour to the
proceedings on her first formal evening event.The first hotel in Northern Ireland to be developed by Culzean Estates Limited and
managed by Glasgow based BDL Hotel Group, the hotel is situated next to Junction
One, Northern Ireland’s largest Shopping Outlet.  Just a 10 minute drive from
Belfast International Airport, its strategic location makes it equally suited to
those looking for a convenient stay before or after flying as guests seeking a base
from which to explore the Province, with Belfast, Derry, the Giant’s Causeway plus
the North Coast’s spectacular scenery and world renowned Golf Courses all less than
an hour by car. 

Featuring 90 guestrooms and four purpose-built meeting rooms, the property is
certain to appeal to business and leisure travellers alike.  The simple yet
stylishly decorated rooms include a power shower, colour TV with satellite channels
and pay-movies, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, modem
points and lamp-lit work desks.

 

The hotel offers Twin, double and interconnecting rooms, accommodating up to two
adults and two children, with five fully accessible rooms also available. The
standard rate is £59 per room per night, which includes a full complimentary Ulster
buffet breakfast.

Local businesses will be able to take advantage of the hotel’s four purpose-built
meeting rooms, which feature air-conditioning, Wireless Internet Access, natural
daylight and black-out facilities. In total the meeting rooms can accommodate up to
160 people, with each area capable of accommodating 40 people ‘theatre style’.

The hotel’s Massachusetts born General Manager, Jim Mingle, added: “With tourism on

The BDL Hotel Group is growing rapidly with their next new hotel, the Holiday Inn
London - Chessington, scheduled to open at the end of June.
