Hotel Council of San Fran launches website

The Hotel Council of San Francisco in celebration of its 20th Anniversary has unveiled its inaugural member and community focused website located at www.hotelcouncilsf.org.
“This innovative website will give our members exposure and access to a world of industry information while also providing the public with information about the hotel industry in San Francisco,” said Patricia Breslin, Executive Director of the Hotel Council of San Francisco.

“Tourism is the city’s largest private employer; it is important for us to stay cutting edge and we believe this new website will be a wonderful addition to our on-going communication efforts.”

The Hotel Council website will provide its members with information on industry issues involving both current compliance standards as well as issues that may have future impact, while also informing the general public about how San Francisco hotels contribute to the economic health of San Francisco. The website will also contain information regarding important upcoming events, government affairs updates, and ways for hotels to get more involved in the San Francisco community.

“Our hotel members and members of the community will be able to keep up to date with the hotel industry and see our recent efforts,” remarked Toni Knorr, Vice-President of the Hotel Council of San Francisco and General Manager of the St. Regis in San Francisco. “Working with our strategic partners, like the Visitors and Convention Bureau, we hope to continue to promote our local hotel and tourism industry.”

The Hotel Council of San Francisco is a non-profit organization, representing all segments of the city’s lodging industry. It includes as its members, major San Francisco hotel properties, large and small as well as allied members representing companies who support the hotel industry.
