For the month of June, Delta Hotels’ 40 locations across
Canada will participate in a fundraising campaign for Special Olympics Canadaor every coffee sold in its restaurants, a donation will be made to the sports
movement to support its programs, as well as help send Team Canada athletes to
Shanghai, China, to compete in the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games.

“Through the generous support of guests and employees, Delta Hotels has helped
Special Olympics athletes experience the joy of travel, a cornerstone of our
business,” says Hank Stackhouse, company president. “Whether they’ve travelled
across our country or around the world to represent Canada, they’ve gained
experiences that will last a lifetime.”

Special Olympics Canada has been Delta’s national charity partner since 1999. With
more than 31,000 athletes, family, friends and volunteers within the Special
Olympics community, this registered charitable organization and not-for-profit
grassroots organization is dedicated to enriching the lives of Canadians with an
intellectual disability through sport.
