Farelogix appoints board member

Farelogix has bolstered its
board of directors with the addition of travel industry veteran, Bonnie
Reitz.  Reitz brings a fresh perspective on the global travel market to
Farelogix, and will play an instrumental role in providing guidance, insight
and perspective on the changing role of distribution in the travel industry.

“Bonnie is a well-respected and successful business leader whose insights
and experience in the travel sector will prove to be highly beneficial for
Farelogix,” said Jim Davidson, president and CEO of Farelogix. “We welcome
her as an integral part of our leadership team.”

Reitz is founder of InsideOut-Culture to Customer, a business consultancy
that advises management on how to increase profit margins by creating great
places for employees to work and equally great places for customers to do
business.  She is also a former Senior VP of Marketing, Sales and
Distribution at Continental Airlines, and an original member of the
airline’s extraordinarily successful ‘Worst to First’ turnaround team. Prior
to joining Continental Airlines, Reitz was Vice President of Sales and
Marketing at System One GDS.  In this role, she was instrumental in growing
and developing the travel agency and GDS business, and helped position
System One for its eventual merger with Amadeus GDS.

Reitz has thrived on the many market changes in the travel and

technology throughout her career.  She understood the distribution
opportunities made available by the Internet and embraced them early on in
her career at Continental Airlines. Reitz now brings that same energy, focus
and distribution insight to the Farelogix team.


While Reitz began her career as an Eastern Airlines’ ticket agent where she
learned the business from the bottom up, she has been a driver of change in
all facets of the industry over the last twenty-nine years. Continually
recognized for her expertise, Bonnie frequently speaks at executive and
academic forums worldwide and her business success has been highlighted in
several business books.  Through her experience, tenacity and energy, she
consistently validates her place as a respected catalyst to achieving
business excellence.

Reitz adds to the roundup of accomplished executives currently on the
Farelogix board of directors, including company CEO, Jim Davidson; Bert
Amato, entrepreneur; Farelogix founder, Rick Gossage; and Michael Marocco,
Managing Director and Head of Private Equity at Sandler Capital.
