The Indonesian government has revoked the aircraft operation certificates of four small airlines that failed to meet safety requirements, Bisnis Indonesia reported, quoting a Transportation Ministry spokesman. The certificates were revoked because the companies’ planes are not airworthy, the spokesman said.

The four companies are PT Alfa Trans Dirgantara, PT Nurman Avia Indopura, PT Aviasi Upata Raksa Indonesia and PD Prodexim, the report said.
