Aer Lingus PLC is expected to disclose a deal to buy Airbus’s new A350 jetliners as early as today, the Wall Street Journal online editiion reported, quoting a person familiar with the matter. The number of planes ordered is not clear, the report said.

The Irish state carrier would be a new customer for the latest Airbus aircraft, which last year got approval from Airbus parent European Aeronautic Defense & Space Co, after customers rejected two earlier designs.
