New appointment for Expedia Corporate

Robert Greyber, Vice President, Expedia(R) Partner Services Group, has been appointed to the newly-created role of Senior Vice President (SVP), Expedia(R) Corporate Travel (ECT)
North America, effective June 4, 2007. Greyber will report to Jean-Pierre
Remy, President of Expedia Corporate Travel Worldwide.
  In just over three years, ECT has grown to be one of the world’s
largest corporate travel organizations offering leading service, content
and technology capabilities to global clients of all sizes and structure.
Today’s announcement demonstrates Expedia, Inc.‘s commitment to invest in
and expand ECT’s global footprint. With Remy based in Paris, seasoned
leadership teams in Paris, Bellevue and London, and the newly-created
position of SVP, ECT North America, the company is well-positioned to
become the largest global marketplace in corporate travel.
  “During my tenure as President of ECT, I have seen the opportunity for
our growth in corporate travel in North America and abroad,” said Remy.
“Robert is a strong and seasoned travel executive with extensive background
in airline relationships. This new role and his appointment underscore the
importance of our growth in North America as part of our overall global
strategy.”

  Greyber joined Expedia in 2004 as Vice President, Expedia Partner
Services Group. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of
Expedia’s relationships with airline partners in North America. Prior to
Expedia, he served as Vice President for a venture-backed software company
based in San Francisco, California. Before that, Greyber served in senior
management roles at Scient Corporation, leading numerous strategy and
technology client engagements. At Scient, he was responsible for leading
the team that designed and engineered the initial web and operating
infrastructure for Hotwire.com, now a subsidiary of Expedia, Inc. Prior to
Scient, Greyber was an Associate with Deutsche Bank’s Mergers &
Acquisitions group, based in Hong Kong and began his career with Electronic
Data Systems Corporation.
  Greyber holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of
Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting, and a Bachelor of
Arts degree, with honors, in English Literature from the University of
Maryland, College Park.
  In 2000, Remy founded Egencia, a start-up that grew into one of the
major players and leaders in online corporate travel in Europe. The company
was acquired by IAC/InterActive Corp. (parent company of Expedia) in April
2004. Prior to his position as President of Expedia Corporate Travel, Remy
headed up Expedia Corporate Travel in Europe. Prior to creating Egencia,
Remy was Vice President at Bain & Company where he advised large
international companies on their growth strategies, new ventures, mergers
and acquisitions, and reorganizations. During his tenure, he served as
consultant for a number of global companies focusing on strategic
development of business services and technology. He also served as Managing
Director of the technology consulting company CM International, founded in
1986.
  Remy graduated from Ecole Centrale in Paris and received his Ph.D.
Specialisation Degree from HEC in Strategy & Business Management.
