Multimap showcases latest API

Multimap will be demonstrating the latest version of its highly-functional API (Application Programming Interface v.1.2) to the travel industry at the Travel Distribution Summit 2007, London (23rd & 24th May, 2007).
Commenting on the Multimap API v.1.2, Jeff Kelisky, CEO of Multimap, said, “We are proud to offer the latest version of our API service (version 1.2) to the industry. Ease and speed of implementation are key considerations driving many businesses to embrace the new service, with the ability to be up and running with a highly interactive, signature site in a matter of hours.”
Sean Phelan, founder of Multimap, will examine the relationship between online mapping services and increased bookings and customer loyalty in the travel sector in his presentation at the Travel Distribution show at 2pm on Wednesday, 23rd May.
Sean also invites travel professionals to visit Multimap’s stand (no. C43) and see live demonstrations of the Multimap API v.1.2. The latest release breaks new ground in bringing together searching, routing, mapping, geocoding, and POI data and imagery into a single one-stop service. The service gives businesses unprecedented capability and control over their location services, and comes complete with Multimap’s industry-leading customer support. The API offers major new areas of functionality, and also takes Multimap’s mapping interface to a new level, with the addition of overview maps, smooth zooming, automatic de-cluttering of icons, and many other features*.
