AIRMILES partners with ebay
AIRMILES is partnering with ebay, to enable its members to earn miles on items listed in the Auction-style and Buy-It-Now (Fixed Price) Formats on eBay.co.uk.
To launch this new partnership, which follows a successful three-month trial, AIRMILES is rewarding members with Double Miles* - two Airmiles for every £10 spent on eBay.co.uk’s Buy-It-Now and winning bid items until 7th June 2007. After that date members will receive one Airmile for every £10 spent.
Customers simply log on to www.airmiles.co.uk and click through to eBay.co.uk from the site’s online shopping area, then shop as usual. Airmiles collected will automatically be credited to members’ accounts within 35 days.
The deal with eBay.co.uk is the latest in a line of successful partnerships that AIRMILES has developed on its virtual high street to reward members on everyday online shopping purchases. eBay.co.uk sits alongside AIRMILES’ 120 other leading online retailers, including johnlewis.com, HMV, Interflora, Play.com, Boden, Comet and Waterstones.
As a result, AIRMILES’ online shopping continues to go from strength to strength, with 768,000 miles issued to AIRMILES members for shopping through airmiles.co.uk in the run up to Christmas 2006. This is enough for 1,280 return flights to Venice or 153 return flights to Bahamas.
