After exhibiting at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) last week, WORLDHOTELS has achieved potential hotel portfolio growth in the region - contract applications were received from more than 15 independent hoteliers directly at the show.
Each hotel will go through a meticulous profiling and quality auditing process before being considered one of the future more than 500 unique WORLDHOTELS properties. WORLDHOTELS currently boasts 8 prestigious hotels based in the Middle East region.
“While some hotels went through the auditing process beforehand and are ready to be signed any day now”, said Ingo Guerges, head of business development and relations for WORLDHOTELS’ EMEA region, “We are continuing to actively look for high profile deluxe and up-market properties in all capitals of the region.”
A total of 118 independent hotels belonging to the WORLDHOTELS portfolio were directly represented at ATM. Among hundreds of trade show contacts, more than 60 Travel Agencies and Corporate Customers were negotiating business and registered their cooperation interest.
ATM 2007 was the largest in its history, with some 2,600 participants from 64 countries, nine new-to-the show participants and 116 new companies.
WORLDHOTELS also announced a promising distribution trend evolving: online marketing and customer relations is growing much faster in the Middle East and Africa than in many European and Asian countries.
The WORLDHOTELS sales team is engaging with 10 completely new internet distribution partners, delivering a yearly incremental potential of 60,000 room nights connecting directly to the industry-leading TRUST CRS platform.
