SideStep makes European appointment

Rhys Jarvis has been appointed as its new European Business Development Director.  Jarvis will be responsible for maintaining and developing SideStep’s relationships with European based airlines, as well as all advertising relationships. He will also look after marketing and relationships with strategic suppliers in Europe.

Prior to joining SideStep, Jarvis was Head of Online Marketing and Strategy, Hertz Europe where he was responsible for the company’s Pan-European online marketing strategy and Online Customer Experience.  Jarvis has broad online and travel experience having also held senior positions at Air New Zealand and having been responsible for the new communications strategy for Internet and Intranet for the FSA in London.

Born and educated in New Zealand, Jarvis holds a BA in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Auckland.  He is fluent in Spanish.
