Multimap wins four awards

Multimap has won four major industry awards during the second fortnight of March 2007 alone. The awards recognize Multimap’s strengths and successes on both the B2B and the B2C sides of the business.
For the second year running, Hitwise UK, the online competitive intelligence service, named the top-performing website by visits within its ‘Travel - Maps’ category for 2006. Also for the second year in a row, was voted the UK’s number one website by readers of the digital industry’s leading online publication,, in the prestigious Imperatives Digital Awards. This award is based on’s continued proven capabilities in its design, usability, accessibility, functionality, innovation and suitability for its function.

In March 2007, Multimap also won the Best Use of Technology category of the Fast Growth Business Awards, in its in augural year, based on the significant growth in turnover and profits the company has experienced by embracing technology. Organized by Crimson Business in conjunction with Growing Business magazine, with T-Mobile as headline sponsor, the Fast Growth Business awards recognize and reward great businesses and the people running them. Again during the second half of last month, Multimap was named as one of the Top 50 fastest-growing digital media companies by Media Momentum, in association with GP Bullhound, for the third year on the trot.
