Renaissance site helps meeting planners

America has announced that it has launched an online community for meeting
planners. The community at will allow meeting
planners to network, share the latest industry news and trends through
an online forum, plan and organize meetings at all Renaissance North
America properties and register for chances to win monthly prizes.

The site will serve as a continually updated resource providing
information on planning an “Enlightened Event,” the Renaissance approach
to distinctive meetings and events, including a brief online video,
destination finder, showcase of Executive Chefs from across North
America and the latest tips from industry insiders.


“We wanted this to go a step further than just providing a planning
tool,” said Michael Beardsley, Vice President of Sales & Marketing,
Renaissance Hotels and Resorts North America. “The added value is in our
extensive online forum where meeting planners can share innovative
strategies, best practices, things to avoid and favorite experiences.
This site will encourage meeting planners to ‘be curious,’ promoting an
open dialogue for information exchange and industry news. Since the site
will be a continuous discussion with new promotions, news and features
each month, we see it as becoming a standard on our meeting planners
‘Favorites’ list, driving repeat visits.”
