Chinese flag carrier Air China will launch a new non-stop service between Beijing, its hub, to the northern Japanese city of Sapporo on 18th April.The new service (flight CA169/170) will be offered twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The outbound CA169 will depart Beijing at 8:00 a.m., arriving Sapporo at 1:00 p.m. Returning flight CA170 will depart Sapporo at 2:00 p.m., arriving back in Beijing at 5:00 p.m. (all times local).
Air China will offer 130 weekly flights between Beijing and Japan by this summer, connecting to 7 major Japanese cities: Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, *censored*uoka, Sendai, Hiroshima and Sapporo, and other 84 flights between Beijing and three Korean cities: Seoul, Busan and Dageu. Furthermore, Air China develops full-scale code shares with both All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Asiana Airlines, two members of Star Alliance, further enhanced the Sino-Japan and Sino-Korea flight frequency.
Based on Air China’s extensive route network, Beijing has become the significant transfer hub for European passengers to access Japan and Korea.
