Iberostar has opened a new adults only all-suite hotel, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Para’so, on Mexico’s Mayan Riviera.This new opening brings the total number of Iberostar properties in Mexico to eight; all are five star.

Situated on the white sand Playa Para’so Beach, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Para’so is the first property outside Europe to feature Iberostar’s new personalised butler and concierge service.  The service was launched in April at Iberostar’s flagship property in Spain, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Anthelia.  There are two levels of service available: The Butler and Concierge Service andGrand Star Service.  Butler and Concierge Service is offered to guests inStandard & Ocean View Suites, and includes champagne on arrival, a personalised pillow menu, an evening cocktail service, restaurant, spa and activity reservations, and daily newspaper delivery.  Grand Star Service is offered to guests in the Ocean Front Suites, and in addition to the above includes luggage unpacking, pressing and re-packing, and private transport within the resort complex.  This resort includes four other Iberostar properties: Paraiso del Mar, Paraiso Beach, Paraiso Lindo, and Paraiso Maya.

The Iberostar Grand Hotel Para’so features 120 Ocean-Front Suites, 10 Secluded Villa Suites, 45 Ocean-View Suites and 135 Standard Suites.  Room features include Jacuzzis designed for two, luxurious marble bathrooms complete with Gilchrist & Soames amenities, satellite interactive TV complete with DVD player, CD Clock Radio, iPod / MP3 compatible Docking Station, and Nightly Turn Down Service.  24 hour deluxe room service is also offered as standard.

The dining experiences on offer within the resort include a Japanese restaurant, with an extensive sushi menu and a spectacular ocean view, and the International Gourmet restaurant, also with an ocean view, which offers five-course dining and candlelit indoor and outdoor tables.  There are four à la carte restaurants in total.  Guests staying at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso can also enjoy any of the facilities and restaurants of the other four Iberostar properties within the resort complex.

The resort has three swimming pools: a heated indoor pool, sal*censored*er pool, and a freshwater lake pool.  Other hotel facilities include beach and poolside butlers, six bars, a spa, private couples-oriented spa treatments, a shopping plaza, and an 18-hole golf course, the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf club.  In addition, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Para’so offers activities such as cookery, yoga and Tai Chi, wine tasting, star gazing, watersports, and dance classes.

Iberostar are also developing special Honeymoon, Wedding & Anniversary packages for the resort, which will feature a complimentary room upgrade for onsite weddings, breakfast in bed, a beachside candlelit dinner, a wedding coordinator, couples spa treatments and massages on the beach. The Playa Para’so Resort Spa will feature Turkish and Roman baths, thalassotherapy pools and a range of treatments including massages at the spa or at the beach and Temazcal, a traditional Mayan steam bath treatment.
