Ramamurthi heads marketing at SideStep

SideStep has announced Nancy Ramamurthi as chief marketing officer. Ramamurthi will be responsible for leading SideStep’s marketing team and driving the company’s global marketing strategy and brand development. Ramamurthi’s appointment adds more than 17 years of marketing and management experience to SideStep’s executive roster.

Prior to joining SideStep, Ramamurthi was senior director of eBay’s (Nasdaq:EBAY) global classified business unit, where she led the team in successfully scaling and monetizing a new global portfolio of businesses. Prior to her tenure with eBay, Ramamurthi held senior level marketing and management positions for a number of leading global consumer organizations including Yahoo! (Nasdaq:YHOO), The Coca Cola Company (NYSE:KO), Kraft General Foods and Pfizer (NYSE:PFE). Ramamurthi earned a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
