UK leisure appointment for Delta

Delta Air Lines has appointed Nadia Clinton as Manager, Leisure Sales for the UK. Nadia’s appointment comes at a time when Delta continues to grow its network of routes throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.  Nadia will be based at Delta’s Atlantic Region Offices in Hayes, West London.

Nadia will be responsible for driving sales across all leisure channels including the wholesale, retail, online and MICE markets.  Previously, Nadia held the post of Account Manager-Corporate Sales at Delta, where she successfully managed a variety of Travel Management Companies and local corporate accounts for Delta in the UK.

Armin Venencie, Delta’s Sales Director UK said “We have every confidence Nadia will be a great success in her new role, as she has been a key member of the Delta sales team since she joined last year with over ten years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.  This year will be an important and exciting one for Delta, and Nadia’s abilities and expertise will be invaluable in helping us further expand our presence in the UK, a market which has seen considerable growth over the past 12 months, with the addition of three new Delta routes from London Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh.”

Nadia originally joined Delta’s UK sales team in April 2006.  Prior to this she spent over ten years working at Delta’s Western European Call Centre in reservation sales in a variety of roles from front line to supervisor, progressing to manager responsible for operational and team management.  As part of her work at the Call Centre she gained specialist insight into some of the UK’s largest leisure operators which help her greatly in her new role at Delta.
