Video is rapidly becoming an essential part of the marketing arsenal for the major tour operators. MyTravel’s Director of Digital Marketing, Russell Gould, said, “Video is very effective for driving online sales. It gives us another tool to present to the consumer to make them more comfortable about the decision they’re trying to make when they choose their holiday. It allows us to better present resorts and hotels and so consumers get a better feel for what they’re actually going to be getting”
Tim Leigh, Webrom TV’s Managing Director added “We’ve provided a complete range of production and technology services to the MyTravel Digital Marketing team. These new channels really represent the future of online marketing in the travel industry. By providing booking links alongside video we’re really helping clients to transform video viewings into sales revenue.”
