iBAHN expands into Middle East

iBAHN is opening new
operations in Dubai, UAE.
The middle-eastern base will allow iBAHN to build on its success in
Europe and the US, and offer a launch-pad for additional geographic
growth. Dubai is at the centre of the world’s new hotel development
industry, boasting the largest development pipeline of any region over
the next five years.

iBAHN’s entry into the market will accelerate opportunities for
prospective hotel partners. This will be achieved by delivering higher
guest satisfaction through its fully managed high speed internet
services, and by delivering significant ROI via iBAHN’s lucrative
revenue share deal, which allows iBAHN’s partner hotels to take a
significant percentage of internet service profits.

Christian Steinkampf, iBAHN Sales Director EMEA, who has extensive
knowledge of working in the Dubai hospitality market, comments: “Dubai
is a strategically important region for iBAHN as it is a well-recognised
hub for international business. iBAHN’s experience with the demands and
quality of service expected by hotels and guests is proven across the
globe, and we are looking to build on this by working with partners who
want the best possible experience for business travellers.”

New for 2007 is iBAHN’s Speed Solution that offers guests a choice of
bandwidth options depending on their needs. This unique offering means
that a guest can select basic access to allow them to check email and
surf the net, or choose to pay extra for premium access to a truly
high-speed connection for larger file transfer, video streaming and a
quality connection to their corporate network.

iBAHN is an approved vendor for Hilton, Intercontinental, Marriot and
Rocco Forte, and is partnered with Mandarin Oriental, Ritz Carlton and
many other leading hotel brands.
