Oasis announces the expansion of its management team with the appointment of Gerard Clarke, General Manager UK & Ireland.
Gerard brings with him a total of eighteen years in the Travel and Transportation industries, developing, transforming and leading frontline commercial and strategic divisions.

Gerard spent three years as Head of Business Development with Kuwait Airways, prior to which he was Senior Commercial Manager with Emirates, with responsibility for network sales and commercial marketing; a position he held for eight years.

As Oasis Hong Kong Airlines enters a new phase of sales growth in the market Gerard has been charged with driving the business forward and will assume the day-to-day direction of the UK& Irelandcommercial activities, handled by Aviareps sales development team.

Gerard says, “As the airline forges ahead to implement its growth plan, I’m delighted to be leading Oasis’s UK & Ireland team and to further develop its commercialactivities here. I’m also looking forward, along with my team, to working closely with partners who share the airline’s vision of bringing low fare long haul travel, coupled with great service, to an ever-increasing number of savvy business and leisure travellers across the UKand Ireland”.

For the past year, Aviarepssenior general manager,Andrew Hoskins has overseen the launch and build-up of commercial activities. Following Gerard’s appointment, Andrew Hoskins will now focus again on his other responsibilities within Aviareps, primarily Bangkok Airways.
