Pegasus Solutions is signing an agreement with one of the largest hotel groups in China, Jinling Hotels & Resorts. Under this agreement, Pegasus will enable Jinling Hotels & Resorts to expand its presence worldwide and tap into new revenue streams using the Utell Hotels & Resorts representation service and PegsTour.
The Utell representation service allows for Jinling Hotels & Resorts to be connected to all global distribution systems (GDSs), more than 600,000 travel agencies and more than 1,000 Web sites around the world. The service also provides Jinling Hotels & Resorts with a central reservation system, marketing programs and promotion to international travel agents through Pegasus’ sales force.

Pegasus’ representation services will also enable Jinling Hotels & Resorts to have access to Pegasus’ network of call centers; preferred supplier status through nearly 200 leading global travel agencies; and revenue, yield and channel management guidance from the Pegasus team.

Jinling Hotels & Resorts has also signed an agreement to use Pegasus’ PegsTour service, which will aid its hotels by automating bookings from Pegasus’ participating tour operators and wholesalers. This technology includes a single-interface linking tour operators and hotel reservation systems, and it provides the first viable electronic link between wholesale/tour operator booking technologies, intermediaries and hotel reservation systems.
