Eurostar renews Expedia partnership

Eurostar has renewed its partnership with Expedia Private Label for a further three years, enabling travellers to book hotel, car rental and destination services on Eurostar.com.
The contract renewal follows 28% annual growth for the existing partnership.  The Eurostar/Expedia joint venture is driving one of the highest conversion rates for the purchases of hotels combined with associated travel and the full dynamic packaging of trains with hotels is proving especially attractive.

Kara Livingston, Head of E-Commerce & Customer Management, Eurostar, says: “Partnering with Expedia Private Label has already proven a huge success for Eurostar.  Adding Expedia’s technology and inventory to our site has increased Eurostar’s product offering and strengthened our promotions.  The partnership plays a key role in driving traffic to Eurostar.com and enables our travellers to build their own short breaks, tailored precisely to their needs.”

Karen Vaites Bohannon, Managing Director of Expedia Private Label says, “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Eurostar.  Eurostar’s travellers are responding incredibly well to our dynamic packaging product, and it is a pleasure working with Eurostar to promote the product across their channels.  The resulting bookings are adding revenue to both businesses and we look forward to continuing our successes over the course of the next three years.”
