The AirAsia Group which comprises AirAsia Berhad, Thai AirAsia and Indonesia AirAsia, has carried over 30 million guests to date.To celebrate AirAsia has launched “The Grand Sale”, the airline’s latest promotion with fares as low as RM30.
Barely in its 5th year, AirAsia’s achievement of recording 30 million guests will see the airline moving ahead to drive passenger loads by further stimulating travel with a total of 500,000 seats allocated in this latest promotion. The 30 millionth passenger mark was reached in February 2007. Last year, the airline crossed the 20 millionth mark in June 2006.
Kathleen Tan, Executive Vice President - Commercial, AirAsia, said, “We are delighted to record this significant achievement. The promotion is our invitation to everyone to celebrate this achievement with us. AirAsia guests have continuously exhibited high demand for low fares which is now stronger than ever and the 30 million passengers is a testament that low fare rules.”
