AirTran pursues Baltimore expansion

AirTran Airways has announced that it
will expand its service from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood
Marshall Airport with new nonstop flights to Seattle, Wash. and Portland,
Maine.The airline also announced the return of seasonal service to
Milwaukee, Wis., and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, along with enhanced service
to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
  New nonstop flights to Seattle/Tacoma will begin May 24, 2007, and
AirTran Airways will begin service to Portland, Maine on June 7, 2007.
Effective April 17, 2007, AirTran Airways will renew its seasonal service
between Baltimore/Washington and Dallas/Fort Worth, and on May 8, 2007, the
airline will renew seasonal service to Milwaukee. Additional flights
between Baltimore/Washington and Charlotte will begin on May 8, 2007.
