Accor to open hotel in Indonesia

Accor is set to open the Mercure Surabaya on Monday, February 26 as part of its long-term strategy to establish Mercure as the leading mid-market brand in Indonesia.The 125-room Mercure Surabaya (formerly the Mirama Hotel) has completed a multi-million dollar renovation that brings it up to most recent brand standards.

The hotel is celebrating the launch with a special opening rate that starts from 399,000 rp (US$44) net per night until 30 June. Mercure Surabaya is located in the city’s main business district of Jalan Raya Darmo, and is surrounded by major commercial developments, government buildings and financial institutions. Its meeting and function facilities can host up to 1,000 people for weddings, conferences or product launches, supported by 3 breakout rooms and a business centre.
