reference guide, listing all of the best hotels of the Arabian
Peninsula. Owner and publisher of Arabian magazines, Nick Cooksey said: ‘This
region of the world has long been distinguished by the exceptional level
of hospitality offered to travelers. The Middle East can expect more
than 68 million visitors within the next 15 years according to the World
Travel Organisation (WTO), which predicts that the GCC region will see
annual average growth of nearly 7%.
‘With an increasing number of top branded hotels entering the market,
the time is right to bring out a definitive compilation that
distinguishes the best from the rest in each of the six GCC states.’
All 5 star and above properties will be included as well as up-market
boutique hotels offering a unique and outstanding hospitality
experience. The total listing of hotels is expected to exceed 170,
divided into country by country sections, with essential visitor
information on each. Appealing to executive business people and luxury
leisure seekers, the glossy guide will contain full contact details and
information about the special facilities and unique characteristics that
distinguish each hotel.
‘Every hotel considered eligible for inclusion will be provided with a
free listing with the option to upgrade their entry by way of
photographs, logos, additional content and advertising. The quality
content and presentation also provides an exclusive advertising
environment for luxury brands, airlines and services associated with
high-end Gulf travel and lifestyle,’ explained Mr. Cooksey.
8,000 copies are being printed for distribution to selected
international MICE, travel and tour operators specializing in first and
business class travel to the region, airline lounges and chartered jet
companies, CEOs of the Gulf’s major companies, 5 star hotels, GCC
government ministries and diplomatic missions.
