James Tingley has become manager of the 398-room Delta Bow Valley, located in
downtown Calgary. For the past five years, Tingley has been general manager of the
321-room Delta Lodge at Kananaskis, in the Canadian Rockies.

Tingley has a long history with both Delta Hotels and the former Canadian Pacific
Hotels, joining the latter in 1982 at its Halifax location. He later transferred to
work at the company’s corporate office, and then served as executive assistant
manager at the Algonquin from 1988 to 1992, as director of operations at Jasper Park
Lodge until 1998, and as general manager of Delta Prince Edward until 2002, when he
moved to Delta’s Alberta resort to take up the same position.

organization that provides support to students and teachers in Calgary and the
surrounding area; the Calgary and Area Travel Destination Region Board, an affiliate
of Travel Alberta, the province’s marketing vehicle; and the Salvation Army Advisory
Council.

207-suite Delta Whistler Village Suites. With more than 17 years’ industry
experience, this University of Guelph graduate actually began her hotel career with
a six-month stint in Delta Meadowvale’s front office, and was with the brand from
1989 to 2000, working in sales at the Delta-managed Tantalus Resort and the former
Delta Whistler Resort, both in Whistler, British Columbia.
