Expedia sign deal with Frontier Airlines

Expedia has signed a new long-term strategic agreement with Frontier Airlines.
With this new four-year partnership agreement in place, Frontier Airlines’ fares, schedules and inventory will be available through Expedia, Inc.‘s portfolio of brands.

As part of this relationship, Frontier Airlines will be included in the opaque and retail fares offered on discount travel site Hotwire.com(TM). Finally, Frontier Airlines will be expanding their involvement with Expedia(R) Corporate Travel, deepening Frontier’s relationship and alignment with this important source of corporate demand and business travelers.

This new contract enables Frontier to benefit from Expedia, Inc.‘s online travel expertise, broad reach and targeted merchandising opportunities and gives Expedia travelers greater access to Frontier’s distinctive, high-quality and low-priced air travel product.

“Frontier is recognized as one of the country’s leading low-fare airlines. We are proud to extend our relationship with innovators like Frontier because it allows us to continue offering our travelers the widest selection of price and inventory in the industry,” said Lloyd Johnson, senior vice president, Expedia Partner Services Group, Americas. “Our partnership with Frontier also represents the type of long-term, mutually beneficial strategic agreements that we want to establish with our partners.”

“Expedia’s broad reach is critical to our ability to win customers in parts of the country where our footprint is not as large as it is in Denver and the West,” said John Happ, senior vice president of marketing and planning, Frontier Airlines. “We look forward to gaining new customers through Expedia and Expedia Corporate Travel, bringing low fares and great customer service to more passengers around the country.”
