Delta unveils satellite call centre

A new customer contact centre is now taking calls
in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, for Delta Hotels. This new satellite centre was
established with the assistance of the Government of New Brunswick.

“With its qualified labour pool, Grand Falls is an attractive location for this
satellite centre. And as the first major hotel brand to arrive in this city, we also
believe we’re an attractive employment option for the people of Grand Falls who may
be interested by our industry,” says Perry Kendall, general manager of Delta’s
global reservation service. “This satellite centre continues our commitment to
offering excellent service to our loyal guests and clients.”

Twenty new jobs have been created at the customer contact centre, which complements
the services already offered by the brand at its main global reservations centre in
Fredericton. The employees will provide bilingual services to customers worldwide
booking into any of the brand’s 40 hotels and resorts.

Delta Hotels established its global reservation centre in Fredericton in 1996,
providing 24-hour, year-round bilingual reservations services to more than one
million clients annually, as well as marketing and database support to the brand.
