Hypertech wins first UK contract

The new UK office of travel technology specialist HyperTech Solutions, established just a few weeks ago under the leadership of industry veteran Tim Wright, has won its first UK contract.

HyperTech will supply its integrated PleX® dynamic packaging solution to spa holiday specialist tour operator and travel agency Thermalia Travel Ltd, based in Stanmore, Middlesex. The project will enable Thermalia’s web site (www.thermalia.co.uk) to offer online visitors a full ‘look, select and book’ service.

Thermalia specialises in the fast-growing spa holiday and breaks sector, offering a wide range of spa-based holidays and breaks at ‘wellness’ centres in western and eastern Europe, Sri Lanka, the Middle East and Ireland.

According to Thermalia managing director Miro Sajfert, the premium nature of the agency’s core business lends itself to offering a full online booking service. “I have been impressed by HyperTech’s innovative technology. This will enable Thermalia to sell its holidays more effectively by offering full booking capabilities on our web site for the first time.”


HyperTech Solutions UK managing director Tim Wright believes the arrival of HyperTech in the UK is ‘perfectly timed’. Today, in his opinion, the UK travel trade increasingly understands the value of multi channel distribution services, whether offline or online, and is more confident about implementing technologies such as dynamic packaging to provide their customers with richer and more varied content, together with seamless real-time secure booking.
