Amadeus said Friday that five India-based online travel portals have chosen the company as its technology partner. MakeMyTrip, Sify, Indiatimes, Travelguru and Yatra would implement software solution Amadeus API, for getting access to online airline booking details on both domestic and international roots, Amadeus India managing Director Ankur Bhatia told the Press Trust of India.

The software would help customers access these portals to search for best possible fares available on domestic and international roots, he said.

“The new genre of online travel is fast sweeping the nation and Amadeus is empowering all major players who at present account for almost 65 per cent of total online travel in India,” he added.
