The number of international air passengers leaving South Korea rose in 2006 from the previous year as a result of lower travel costs due to the won’s ascent, officials said Wednesday. The number of international air travelers stood at 32.84 million last year, up 10.2 per cent compared to 2005, the Ministry of Construction and Transportation said.
