Hong Kong Eaton gets a make-over

A US$18m (approx: £9.2m) makeover of Hong Kong’s Eaton Hotel is due for
completion in the first quarter of 2007 and includes the addition of new
meeting facilities at the hotel.The refurbishment will give the hotel a new
focus on exclusivity, efficiency and an urban polish designed to appeal to
the new generation of business travellers.

New features include the E Club, an executive lounge featuring computers
with broadband internet access and meeting facilities. A revamp of Eaton
Hotel?s restaurants has already been completed, whilst work is nearing
completion on upgrading the 461 guest rooms to offer contemporary style and
comfort.

The new 3,000 square metre Eaton Hotel Banquet and Conference Centre can
accommodate up to 550 guests or delegates with flexible configuration and
state-of-the-art technology. It now ranks as one of Kowloon?s largest
conference and banqueting facilities.
