Bland Group acquires Teleticket

The Bland Group is acquiring flight operator, Teleticket in a bid to expand its tourism portfolio.


Teleticket has operated for 10 years as a flight only operator to various destinations across Europe from the UK, including the Canaries, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt and most recently Sal, Cape Verde. .

Neil Chapman Managing Director of Teleticket commented: ‘Teleticket had reached a crucial stage of evolution and the new ownership of the company provides the opportunity for us to springboard this development. To become part of a group, which has such a pedigree and has been trading since 1810, is great news for our staff, our customers and our future.’

The International Bland Group controls a diverse range of companies across the transport, leisure and tourism industries. They include GB Airways, Cadogan Holidays and The Rock Hotel in Gibraltar. The Group has an annual turnover in excess of £250 million from air travel, holidays, hotels, tour and destination management services and sea, road and air transport operations based in the UK, Gibraltar, Spain and North Africa.

Teleticket retains its senior management team and the board of directors will be strengthened by the addition of three Bland Group directors.
