American Airlines has said that it is pulling international fares as well as domestic first and business fares from Expedia.com.
The carrier, which was involved in founding Expedia.com in 1996, claims this will not impact on its relationship with Expedia Corporate Travel and that it will continue to sell domestic coach tickets through Expedia.

This move supports American Airline’s continued drive to cut distribution costs by selling more tickets directly through its own Web site.
