Travel Intelligence adds mapping feature

Travel Intelligence is now offering Mapsack.com online maps that allow users
to share their holiday experiences easily, thus creating a distinct
map-based travel community. The website’s travel maps feature allows users to access a range of
different destinations; locations are tagged on a Google-based map-base so
that users can make selections based on certain criteria, such as culture
and entertainment, transport or accommodation. Related tags are then added,
so that travel fans can find similar attractions elsewhere. They can vote,
comment, add their own postings, add photos, and even message each other
through the Mapsack.com system.

Founded by travel writer AA Gill, the Travel Intelligence site has
displayed many strengths since its inception in 1999. As well as offering a
range of hotel reviews, Travel Intelligence also currently offers users the
best selection of luxury and design hotels - so users can find hotels and
hotel reviews on one convenient site.

By implementing their travel map and offering a user-friendly visual tool,
Travel Intelligence are effectively answering the calls of online travel
fans and making it much simpler for travellers to share reviews of not just
hotels, but global attractions, restaurants and nightclubs. This creates a
map-based community of travel fans and writers and thus aims to make it
easier for people to share and make travel decisions. As the travel
industry becomes increasingly tuned in to the value of online travel
writing and reviews, industry experts like Travel Intelligence become all
the more important in sharing their knowledge and expertise.

So, whether travellers are looking for places to eat or stay in a specific
world destination, or share their own experiences of a particular holiday
spot with other online travel fans, Travel Intelligence’s travel maps
feature represents an excellent resource for novice travellers and seasoned
global trekkers alike.
