19th Jan 2007

The fashionable boutique hotel JIA Hong Kong, the city’s original boutique hotel featuring Philippe Starck designed interiors, is offering sensational rates this winter season.

Prices start at just HK$1,390++ for a studio and a one-bedroom suite is HK$1,890++ at the savvy international traveller’s “home away from home” from now until March 14.

Included in the deal are a host of complimentary extras, including breakfast, afternoon cakes, evening wine and all-day beverages. Guests are welcomed to their stylish room with a relaxing gift of a winter aromatic candle.

An added perk with the winter package is a very special 15 per cent discount on all food and beverage, including mini-bar, room service and at OPIA, its award-winning signature restaurant serving edgy Australian cuisine by Melbourne Chef Dane Clouston.

Celebrating the launch of JIA boutique hotels’ second venue JIA Shanghai in March, guests booking the Winter Rate will also enjoy a 30 per cent discount at the new hotel for room bookings made from its opening in March to July 31st this year.

JIA is sleekly designed with chic, handpicked furnishings and fittings, and ultra-modern amenities for fast-living professionals and style-conscious travellers.

Top of the range audio-visual equipment includes flat screen televisions that revolve 180 degrees, surround sound systems and DVD/VCD home theatre unit, and free wireless broadband.  Valet laundry and dry cleaning is another one of JIA’ s comforts.

JIA was the only Hong Kong hotel listed on the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler ‘Hot List 2006’ of the world’s top new hotels. London’s Independent newspaper voted it one of the five best boutique hotels in Greater China.

OPIA, the hotel’s chic signature restaurant and lounge, was voted Best Restaurant in the South China Morning Post/Harper’s Bazaar Style Awards 2006. OPIA was voted runner-up ‘Best New Restaurant’ in Wallpaper magazine’s Judges Award 2006 and was also named among Condé Nast Traveler’s ‘Hot Tables 2006’, their annual listing of the world’s best new places to dine.

JIA also offers special access to KEE private members’ club as well as access to the VIP section and 10% dining discounts at Dragon-I, which allows guests to enjoy a privileged Hong Kong lifestyle during their stay.  Guests also enjoy complimentary use of the nearby California Fitness gym.
