Mandeville receives RevPAR award

The Bench presented The Mandeville Hotel, London with the award for the highest RevPAR (revenue per available room) growth in 2006, having improved results by 103.59%. Beatrice Dowell, Director of Sales and Marketing of The Mandeville Hotel, received the award from Jamie Chappell, Managing Director of The Bench, at the KPMG and The Bench New Year Summit held on the 11th January 2007.

Global Benchmarking figures released by The Bench reflect a strong growth in RevPAR worldwide. With Asia Pacific increasing RevPAR by 20.12% in 2006 compared to the previous year, Europe rising by 11.61% and the US up 7.5%, overall 2006 has been a very positive year for the global hotel industry.

 

The UK saw RevPAR rise by 12.53% with London experiencing a growth of 18.5%, placing it in sixth position within the overall European ranking for RevPAR growth.
