TC Signature brand heads to South America

For the first time Thomas Cook Signature has introduced a significant programme to
Central and South America for summer 2007.The tour operator now has holidays
available in Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil, detailed in its Worldwide brochure.

Thomas Cook Signature specialises in holidays combining scheduled flying with
quality hotels. It has introduced six hotels in Mexico, four in Costa Rica and 12 in
Brazil, along with various locally escorted tours in each destination.

In each destination, tailored packages and itineraries are recommended, suggesting
destination combinations for customers, such as twin centres combining Mexico and
Miami, or extensions from Rio de Janeiro to visit the Iguassu falls or beaches of
Buzios.

Robbie Orr, Director of Product at Thomas Cook, said: “Holidaymakers are
increasingly adventurous in the holiday destinations they choose, and are
progressively looking for a new experience from their weeks away. South America
offers exactly that. Costa Rica has breathtaking rainforest scenery, scores of
volcanoes and amazing wildlife, as well as great beaches. Brazil is well known for
its carnival atmosphere in Rio de Janeiro and the mighty Amazon, while Mexico is
becoming hugely popular for both beach life and its awesome Mayan ruins. We are
anticipating a lot of interest in the Americas this year.”
