SideStep has announced it has appointed Hoang Vuong as Chief Financial Officer of SideStep, Inc., effective immediately.As CFO, Vuong will be responsible for SideStep, Inc’s Finance, Sales and Online Marketing organizations.

Prior to SideStep, Hoang spent 4 years at NetIQ as Senior Director of Business Assurance, where he managed merger and acquisition integrations as well as establishing the company’s corporate compliance initiative and internal audit department. He was also responsible for building out the systems and processes as the company grew from $45M to $265M. Prior to NetIQ, he was a manager at Deloitte and Touche High Tech Consulting Practice. Hoang has also held various operations and finance positions at TurboLinux, Foster Farms, and Andersen Consulting.

Hoang is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
