British Airways faces potential strike action in the coming weeks as two separate disputes between staff and management come to a head, The Times of London reports Friday. About 11,000 members of the Transport & General Workers Union will Friday finish balloting on strike action, following the imposition of new working practices. BA is also facing disruption over its attempts to resolve its GBP2.1 billion pension deficit, the report says.

A pension deal was hammered out late last Friday but two of the four unions involved are giving warning that they may not recommend it to members, throwing a solution into doubt.
