ERA unveils online timetable

The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) is launching an online timetable of its member airlines which allows users to search for flights and book online.  The system has been developed in partnership with OAG.

Prospective passengers can log onto the site at www.eraa.org and search for a particular route to see what airlines fly there.  A click-through facility then takes the user to the airline’s own website where they can proceed to book their flight.

ERA member airlines operate 1.7 million flights a year throughout Europe.  They typically fly non-stop direct routes between regional airports or connect regional airports to Europe’s major cities.

ERA member airlines operate the most modern and fuel efficient aircraft currently available on the market, making them a viable option for the environmentally conscious traveller.

Simon McNamara, General Manager Infrastructure & Environment says: “Many people are unaware of the route options available from these intra-European airlines which fly many point-to-point services often to less congested and more convenient airports.  They also fly the latest technology regional jets and turboprop aircraft which are the quietest and most fuel efficient aircraft available.”
