Agoda is signing a distribution agreement with the Samui Peninsula Resort and Spa, located on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand.
“This agreement provides Agoda’s customers with access to low rates and instant confirmation in busy periods for a popular hotel in an even more popular destination” stated Wilfred Fan, Vice President of Business Development for Agoda.

Wesley Hayden, Hotel Manager of Samui Peninsula Resort, said “we believe the online channel continues to be a great way to market our property and the relationship with Agoda will give our property more international exposure.”

“Additionally, Agoda’s proprietary Yield Control System allows us real time control of inventory and rate structure, which means greater flexibility in offering discounts during low season and improving yield during peak travel periods,” said Hayden

In the coming months, Agoda and the Samui Peninsula Resort and Spa will be working together on developing promotions targeted to Agoda’s diverse geographical customer base. Agoda offers travel booking services in Japanese, English and several other languages.

Says Fan: “this agreement also makes it easier for our 24/7 support staff to recommend Samui Peninsula Resort and Spa to its customers for last minute travel, and Koh Samui has been increasingly become a destination popular for last-minute impulse travel plans.”
