Doubletree expands Canadian portfolio

Doubletree Hotels are opening their first full-service hotel in the province of Québec with the debut of the Doubletree Plaza Hotel Montreal. Perfectly positioned in the progressive eastside of Montreal’s “centre-ville,” the hotel is just minutes from such legendary, year-round attractions as Old Montreal, Mont Royal, the Olympic Stadium, Biodome and Casino Montreal. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in serving the Montreal community this year, this 313-room, 24-storey hotel has just completed an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation project to upgrade all guest rooms, public space and 17,000 square feet of event space.

Formerly a Crowne Plaza, the Doubletree Plaza Hotel Montreal is operated by Hunsons Hospitality Corporation, under a franchise agreement with Doubletree Hotel Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation. Hunsons Hospitality Corporation also owns and manages the hotel.
