Hyatt will launch its new brands Hyatt Summerfield Suites and Hyatt Place in India, according to the Economic Times. Summerfield Suites is an upscale all-suite brand in the four-star grade. Hyatt Place is a select service brand in the economy category.

These brands will be launched in the US in 2007 and may be brought into India straight away.

Hyatt Corporation is considering opening 65 Hyatt Summerfield Suites and Hyatt Place in India.

It is also mulling the possibility of running multiple brands in more Indian cities, especially Bangalore.
