Emirates seeks A380 compensation

Emirates Airline has confirmed that it will seek compensation from Airbus for the delayed delivery of the A380. Emirates is the largest customer for the new model with 43 of the aircraft ordered, according to Reuters.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al-Maktoum, the airline’s chairman, was quoted by Dubai’s al-Bayan newspaper as saying that the company expects compensation.

Emirates won Middle East’s Leading First Class Airline at this year’s World Travel Awards.
