Due to the ceasing of business operations of Connexion by Boeing, the in-flight Internet service provider, the service will be discontinued as of December 30, 2006.
The end of service, which is applicable to all air carriers, was said to be in the “long-term interests of all parties with a stake in connexion by Boeing.”

The company posted the following information on its website: “Although the product works well and customers who have used it have a high regard for the service, the global market for the service has not developed satisfactorily and the company has decided to discontinue offering the service. There are currently no plans to transition the service to another provider.”
